Homework for Thursday, September 26th 2013 (Due Monday)

REMINDER:  Tomorrow, Friday, September 27th, is Fit Day.  Be sure to wear athletic clothes and dress in layers as we will be outside for a large portion of the day!

Language Arts:  For Monday, September 30th, be sure to finish reading chapters 25-34 of Walk Two Moons and complete the worksheet for those chapters as well.

Advanced Language Arts:  For Monday, September 30th, be sure to finish the prewriting for the Tangerine performance task if you haven't already done so.  Also, complete your context sentences for List 5.  Use the resources below to study for Friday's vocabulary quiz:

Homework for Monday, September 23rd 2013

Language Arts:  Be sure to finish the questions on the short story "Seventh Grade."  The correct sheet says "Story Review Questions" at the top.  (We have already completed the sheet that says "During Reading Questions.")  Also, keep in mind that the next section of Walk Two Moons  is due on Monday, September 30th.  You need to read Chapters 25-34 and complete the worksheet for those chapters.

Advanced Language Arts:  Complete the Tangerine analysis questions, and be prepared to participate in a group discussion tomorrow with the other Advanced Language Arts class.

Language Arts:  Don't forget to study for your vocabulary quiz on the words from the short story "Seventh Grade."  Also, your literature books need covered by tomorrow.

Language Arts:  Complete any questions on the "Seventh Grade" reading questions that we did not finish in class.  The short story "Seventh Grade" is on page 36 in your literature book.  Also, Chapters 15-24 of Walk Two Moons must be read for tomorrow and the worksheet for these chapters must be complete.

Advanced Language Arts:  Complete "Seventh Grade" journal entry.  Finish reading Tangerine by Monday, September 23rd 2013.
